Audio icon chorderaudioexamplesguitar.mp3
This audio example uses a sample-based nylon strung guitar sound and has four short sections, each separated by a few seconds of silence:
Playing of each chord in the key of C using simple triad (three note) chords as they would most easily fall under the left hand on a piano.
Playing of the same chords used the 'open position' chord voicings created by the Chorder 'guitar' preset described in the main text.
A chord sequence played using the piano voicings.
The same chord sequence using voicings held in the various layers of the Chorder preset described in the main text. The style of playing is deliberately kept simple to focus on the sounds of the chords themselves.
Audio icon chorderaudioexamplesstrings.mp3
This audio example uses a sample-based orchestral strings sound and has four short sections, each separated by a few seconds of silence:
Playing of each chord in the key of C using simple triad (three note) chords as they would most easily fall under the left hand on a piano.
Playing of a selection of the same chords used the chord voicings created by the Chorder 'strings' preset described in the main text.
A chord sequence played using the piano voicings.
The same chord sequence using voicings held in the various layers of the Chorder preset described in the main text.
SOS Open Guitar Chords.xml
SOS String Section.xml
These two XML files contain the guitar and string Chorder presets described in the main text. User plug-in preset can get stored in a number of different locations depending upon the platform and OS combination that you are using. However, once you have downloaded these files, if you are unsure about where to place them on your own system, simply create a Chorder preset of your own (one chord will suffice) and save this with a suitable file name. You can then search your hard drive for this file and place the downloaded presets in the same folder.
